Horseshoe Indianapolis (Quarter Horse) TRIALS
Purse $15,000. Four Hundred Yards. (Includes $3,750 – Other Sources). For Registered Quarter Horses Three Years Old, Registered Indiana Bred. Purse $15,000. Nomination and sustaining payments to be added to the Sterlie Bertram Memorial Stakes Purse of $100,000 Added with the purse to be divided 55% to the winner, 20% to second, 10% to third, 5% to fourth, 3% to fifth, 2% to sixth, 1.5% to seventh and eighth and 1% to ninth and tenth. Weight: 126 Lbs. The top 10 fastest qualifiers in the trials will remain eligible for the Sterlie Bertram Memorial Stakes final on Wednesday, October 7. There will be as many trial races as required. Fields will be limited to 10 starters. If less than 14 horses enter back into the trials, the trials may be cancelled and moved to a final on Wednesday, October 7, with the horses having the highest lifetime earnings preferred.
